Entry Terms & Eligibility

By submitting an entry, you confirm that:

  • The product or work entered is original.
  • The product is commercialised or already on the market.
  • You will submit one entry per form — please complete a separate application for each product or entry.
  • All required supporting documents are provided (see the checklist below).
  • Shortlisted applicants may be invited to present their entry and answer questions from the panel of assessors.

Entries are assessed on innovation, functionality, ergonomics, and durability.

What You'll Need to Prepare

Please have these ready before you start so you can complete the form in one sitting:

  • Design report based on the assessment criteria
  • Product catalogue or leaflet
  • Certification of approval (safety / health / legal standards)
  • Patent / utility / design certificate, or proof of rights to the product
  • Market & sales information (if available)
  • Name of the designer or team involved

Accepted file formats: PDF, JPG, PNG, DOC/DOCX, XLS/XLSX. Maximum 10 MB per file

JIDA Member
RM 16,800

Non-JIDA Member
RM 19,800

The participation fee includes:

  • Award Trophy and Certificate

  • Event Site Banner Display

  • Two (2) Complimentary Seats at the Awards Dinner

  • Feature Article on JIDA’s Official Social Media Channels

Payment is only required upon confirmation as an award winner. No payment is required during the application stage.
