NEX Eminent sintered stone for seamless countertops with integrated basins
Lightgio Travertine is a sintered stone surface from the NEX Eminent collection by Nex Stone. Supplied in 1,600 × 3,200 mm slabs at 12 mm thickness, it can be fabricated into continuous countertops with custom built-in basins, creating a clean, monolithic look for modern kitchens.
ABOUT THIS ENTRY
Lightgio Travertine is part of NEX Eminent, a sintered stone collection made by fusing natural minerals under extreme heat and pressure into large-format slabs. This travertine-look design comes in a matt finish on 1,600 × 3,200 × 12 mm slabs, the thickness recommended for heavy-duty kitchen countertops. Nex Stone’s entry shows the material fabricated into a countertop with a custom sloped basin formed directly into the surface, draining to a colour-matched outlet without silicone joints. The company supplies, fabricates and installs the stone with its own in-house installation team, and offers SketchUp layout mapping before orders are confirmed. Lightgio Travertine was launched on 21 December 2023.
WHY THIS ENTRY STANDS OUT
Lightgio Travertine shows how sintered stone can go beyond flat surfaces. Integrating the basin into the countertop removes the joints where grime usually collects, and precision fabrication shapes gentle slopes that drain water quickly. The dense, non-porous stone, with water absorption below 0.5%, is designed to handle boiling water, cleaning agents and heavy daily use without staining, etching or cracking, while its soft matt surface resists water spots and fingerprints. Nex Stone describes the material as mineral-based with no synthetic resins, and backs each NEX Eminent product with a five-year warranty.
