Air conditioner and air purifier package by Daikin
Air Creator brings an air conditioner and an air purifier together in one package. Developed by Daikin’s research and design teams in Malaysia and Japan and launched in February 2026, the series has received a Good Design Award 2025 and a Red Dot Winner 2026 recognition.
ABOUT THIS ENTRY
Air Creator from Daikin pairs an air conditioner with an air purifier as one package: the Air Creator AC air conditioner, whose indoor unit measures 960 mm (W) × 300 mm (H) × 185 mm (D) and weighs 10 kg, and the Air Creator AD aroma-diffusing air purifier, measuring 356 mm (W) × 393 mm (H) × 236 mm (D) and weighing 7 kg. The series was developed by Daikin Research & Development Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. with the Technology Innovation Center of Daikin Industries, Ltd. in Osaka, Japan. Air Creator was launched on 27 February 2026 and is marketed, distributed and serviced by Daikin Malaysia Sales & Service Sdn. Bhd.
WHY THIS ENTRY STANDS OUT
Air Creator treats cooling and air purification as one combined offering rather than two separate appliances, an approach that has been recognised by two international design juries. The series received a Good Design Award in 2025 and was named a Red Dot Winner 2026 in the “Heating and Air Conditioning Technology” category of the Red Dot Award: Product Design. On sustainability, Daikin Malaysia Sales & Service holds MyHIJAU Mark certification from the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation for its R32 inverter split air conditioners, which the company submits in support of this entry.

ABOUT THIS ENTRY
Air Creator combines air conditioning, air purification and aroma diffusion into one integrated smart system controlled through a single mobile application. Using AIR CARD presets such as Fitness, Sleep, Focus and Chill-out, temperature, humidity, air quality and scent are adjusted together instead of separately. Designed specifically for tropical climates, the system incorporates intelligent humidity control, dual purification technologies and a fully digital setup experience without a traditional remote control. Developed by Daikin Malaysia together with Daikin Industries’ Technology Innovation Center in Japan, Air Creator launched in Malaysia in February 2026.

Air Creator redefines the conventional air-conditioning experience by integrating four environmental controls into one intelligent ecosystem. The AIR CARD concept simplifies complex environmental adjustments into intuitive presets, while tropical humidity optimisation, dual air purification technologies and a digital-first user experience demonstrate both technical innovation and practical usability. Sustainability is further reinforced through extended filter lifespan, environmentally conscious refrigerant selection and MyHIJAU certification.
